where does the ecm and gauge get their readings i cant find a connector/s
 

i simplified my harness and i might have taken out the temp gauge or temp to the ecm out can you guy tell me which one it is or guide me in the right direction ive looked at the diagrams but cant seem to pin point the connectors,

If your talking about water temp gauge, that sensor is on the rear plate under the oil filter pedestal, the single wire runs together with the charging harness as well as oil pressure gauge and Altenator light.

The ecu gets temp readings from the coolant sensor behind water pump housing.
