Where does this bracket bolt to?

Hey guys,

Thanks for all the help so far as I try and get my new FD in tip top shape. I have another pic and another question :).

I've got two pictures here. The zoom out is pic from the passenger side of the engine bay with the bracket in question circled. The zoom in is a close up of the bracket itself.

The bracket is on the wiring harness and it looks like it's supposed to be supporting the harness. I've looked all over the place, and I can't figure out where it's supposed to bolt in to. Can someone let me know where this thing is supposed to attach? Thanks!

Do you have a cat or your air pump still functioning? If so that bracket bolts to the air line on the out side of the LIM. You dont need that clamp

I welded all the egr and other stuff that I dont need any more shut. I just to the bracket off and have had no problems.

since your going through all this trouble you should swap out those old mazda check valves with some new ones. There cheap like 15 shipped.

^What he said. PM Dale Clark(e?) about check valves. Hes got a bunch of good viton ones for a good price.

Yeah, that does look like the bracket that attaches to the metal air line coming around the lower intake manifold.

BTW, I only have like 1 set of check valves in stock - PM me if you're interested, I can ship them out pronto.

Dale
