Where to buy battery bracket?

So I wanted to move my battery from the rear seat to my trunk - so I bought a sealed box but when I got the box, it was too big for my trunk!

Now I'm just sick and tired and I just want to move the battery to the stock location so I can put in my rear seats, but when I bought the car, it didn't have the stock bracket for the battery in the engine bay.

Where can I find one of these OTHER THAN THE DEALER? :dunno:

THANKS!!!!!

Look at the FAQ thread and find the 2 threads on battery relocation in there. Shouldn't take you more than 30 seconds. It will take you to the thread where I posted a link to a battery tray that I used. I also provided measurements that the battery box wouldn't fit. Could have saved you some time and money if you had read it.

Anyway, direct link to my post in moconnor's thread with link to the battery tray:

If the battery will be in the trunk, it HAS to be in a sealed box per DOT specifications. I plan to race and that's why I can't just use a tray.

And I can't put it in the back seat locations because I plan on putting my back seats back in.

So any other ideas?

Two ideas. Read that thread and look for GoodfellaFD3S posts on his battery box in the trunk. Or search for GoodfellaFD3s posts w/ pics of his setup.
