Whats wrong with my boost? :(

Ive been trouble shooting for a while. Read a lot of threads. I have a 93 fd, When I first drive the car around everything is fine. It boosts to 10. It seems though when it heats up ill have no boost, then boost 5, then no boost and it makes a weird noise instead of the bov releasing air. Then the turbos will come online then stop working. Its bugging the crap out of me. I'm saving up money to go single but I need to fix this problem in the mean time. It's driving me crazy! Where do I start?

I have 99 spec turbos, streetport, PFC, front mount, 850 injectors... thats all i can think of if that helps

You could try checking your solenoids. I know sometimes they work ok cold but when they heat up they can stop working properly. There is a thread on here that I was reading the other that talks about how to check solenoid at room temperature and how to check them at a hotter temperature to make sure they work well.

If you haven't looked into this let me know and I'll try and find that link for you.

What kind of things have you already done to solve this problem?

Found that link I had it bookmarked, hope it helps. Sorry for it being in the mobile format but I usually use my phone when im on the forum. I believe you can erase the m. after http and it will go to the normal format if you want.

Thanks! Ill be trying that soon. I forgot to mention I took the turbo control solenoid off yesterday ( the one under the uim, vacuum?). The plastic cap that is on the one side was cracked and I hooked up a 12v source and I didn't hear anything click or make any noise at all. Does that make any sense? When I reinstalled everything back together, the problem got a lot worse. Should I just order one of those? Any siggestions?
