Thanks for the reply's How is the Bonez high flow cat and does it reduce the noise of the exhaust.

I got N-tech and I love it! I don't know if it is the highest flowing but supposed to flow 98% better than stock.

The Bonez is fine. As far as reducing the noise of the exhaust, I'm not sure what you mean. Anything that flows better than stock is going to be louder, but it's not as loud as a midpipe.

Are both the N-Tech and Bonez high flow cats true 3" ID? For some reason I thought I once read that the Bonez high flow cat is 2.5" ID and the N-Tech high flow cat is 3" ID.

i don't know about the size but sound of ntech compared to stock is noticeable louder. not midpipe loud though. i dig it.

has everyone been passing emissions with just ntech? i forget which reading it was but the guy put down one point under the limit, i thought he might of done me a favor :)

I prefer the Random Technology cat. Flows awesome from personal experiences on a few different cars, RX-7s and Supras included. Big 3" ID and seems to run really clean... just a couple decibles quiet compared to a midpipe.

None. Any cat will require the air pump.

The N-Tech can be used without the air pump. It comes with the port plugged. If you want to use the air pump, you'll need to have a pipe welded on. If you need to pass inspection, you probably need to keep the air pump.

i just asked this on another similar thread, but would the borla xr1 muffler on a mp be quieter than a high flowing cat? if so, i would definitely ditch my cat for the borla mufflers and have the advantage of a straight through pipe, without fear of being pulled over for noise pollution. (yes, i know if i DID get pulled over, i'd be dead meat for no cat)

I got the n tech (thanks glass man) and it flows really well. Pretty loud and great construction. I recommend it :)
