And searched around, (read Rob´s site on "How too´s") But can someone please give me a good setting.

You should be using the FSM, not the internet.... page F-168

Master-Yoda 04-16-07 02:23 AM

3F 0,75-1,25 closed 4,8-5,0 Open
3G 0,7-1,0 closed 4,2-4,6 Open

Is that what you mean?

I was thinking of hearing from people what works for them...

slayerx7 04-16-07 02:24 AM

Those are the ranges it is supposed to be in....it seems like you expect that people run TPS settings outside of the factory range?

If you REALLY want to know how your engine works, and want respect,
you need to totally read and study section F of the FSM.

In fact you should study the whole manual.

Most of us don't ask questions when we can look up the *correct* answers ourselves in less time than it takes to create a post. :)

I took the time to look up the page number in the FSM for him....what do you want us to do, go to his house and fix it for him? Why would you not have the FSM right in front of you when working on the car, especially when you can download it for free?

I guess you have to explain it to me... What does "F" mean? Because like i wrote, when i looke up the page i the FSM i have i get the A/C compressor...

But then, I´m from sweden... so i guess i´m just stupid...

Sorry for asking...

Section F, page 168 of the 94 factory service manual. Other years might have slightly different page numbers, you just have to look it up in the index. It is uncommon that the TPS would be so far out of adjustment as to make the car not start.

In case you have found the info yet, Here is the link the FAQ thread:
https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/faq-3rd-gen-other-useful-links-68640/
Where you can find the link to the FSM (Factory Service Manual) for the RX7. The 1993 manual links to here: http://www.rx7city.com/93manual.htm
Click #6 for Fuel and Emissions (which is section F)
I'm sure you can find the page.

Pretty sure it's on page F-182 of the 1993 manual. With the PFC commander, it's nice and easy-----VTA1 between 0 and 0.70, VTA2 between 0 and 1.25, this with the car off/throttle closed. If you're running w/out a PFC and commancer, use a volt meter.

Hey man, you posted the specs less than a minute before I posted that, it wasnt there when I started typing that.. so I was like ahh shit oh well, but then of course everyones taking it too seriously like I meant to insult or something...

My logic was if dude didnt have his shop manual, and needed a quick fix, chances are someone might know off the top of their head the spec range. Hook a brother up you know?

I myslef would and will always have the manual handy in case of anything. But *IF* I left it somewhere other than the car, and was like and my girlfriends or somewhere, and had to work in the morning,, Id post a thread to possibly save time and search for it simutainiously as Im sure everyone esle would. If I knew the answer Id be happy to share and save someone a couple hours.

but you have to admit, those sounded kinda like smart ass replies, at first, I laughed.

Its like when someone asks 'Can I do this to my car" Someone always says 'With enough time and money you can do anything to your car' Everyone knows that, but how does that help the situation at hand?

"Hey what did you eat for lunch today?" "Food"

And yes, that was cool of you to post where he could find the answer, Im not trying to slam anyone, so dont take it like so
