What is supposed to go here: Wiring Edition
 

I'm in the process of trying to sort out the clusterfuck of wires left by the previous owner (removing gauges / turbo timer / aftermarket security alarm which I think are causing some of my startup issues) but some of the wires have loose ends to them.

Picture 1(sorry for the terrible quality) shows under the steering wheel, looking up, there are two connectors (blue and orange) whose connectors? have been cut; only a single red wire is spliced and run up through the steering column shroud and attached to a brass colored plate..

Picture 2 shows the clutch pedal assembly,and this wire is also cut.. nothing is spliced into the end of it. EDIT: somehow this got uploaded upside down?

Not sure what these do, or where their ends should go, what they're called to order new ones.

This is just my observation from gutting my engine bay, it may be wrong but I am pretty sure I am correct. The Blue and orange connectors are associated with the air bag sensors (left right and middle of the front end). I never actually checked the wiring diagrams but thats the only thing I can think of that the boxes in the front of the car are.

I am not sure what the wire by the clutch pedal is.

Blue / Orange connects are definitely the airbag circuit. The connectors under the driver side dash lead up to the steering wheel airbag. I believe the red wire is the horn. If you don’t have a steering wheel airbag you should short the terminal with a resistor so the airbag light is not triggered. You can search under my name or some photos and resistor size. Not a clue what wire you are calling out in the clutch pedal photo; make note of the primary/secondary (strip) colors and search the wiring diagram. Hint search the pages for connectors in the region you are working with then study the wire codes into such connector .. you will find the circuit.

Actually the blue connector carries the airbag system sensor inputs to the Diagnostic Module, and the orange connector portion carries the horn wiring.

Good to know! The car has an aftermarket steering wheel (no airbag) so that all makes sense.

Follow-up note: The green wire with orange stripe is the horn connection; the airbag connection wires are green with red stripe and red.

Thanks for the link, I checked out the Service Manual download, and in the clutch section, and it seems to be the starter interlock switch; I guess so you wont be able to start the car when its in gear without the clutch depressed.
