what size/model # K&N airfilter does the M2 intake use?

As the subject states...does anyone know offhand what size/model # K&N air filter the M2 intake box uses? (I'm assuming both filters are the same size...)

Thanks

Excuse me. I think they should be different numbers. Due to what can be labeled as poor design, the filters are too close and usually one ends up mashed into the other. I think K&N makes that filter with a straight fitting, and with an angled fitting. Check.

you can try to just recharge the filter.
i forgot what the actual price but i'm thinking 8.95 or 12.95 and you can use it many many times.
just a suggestion

get the angled ones. it helps on a tight fit.

summit racing has them too.

Thanks for the suggesstion, and yes I am aware that you can pretty much reuse K&N filters forever, as long as you clean them periodically. But I had sold my M2 airbox, and the buyer was curious was the filter size/part # was...and I don't have that info on me...

actually the base of the filters are angled. this allows you to rotate them so you can free up some space in between them
