What should it cost to troubleshoot Boost Problem?

Secondary boost just isn't there. I'm curious what it would cost to have a Rotary shop troubleshoot it and determine what our real issue is. Not a Dealer, we've learned that lesson already with other questions. Anyone have a sense of what it will cost to have this done, not the actual repair just the problem identified.

Thanks for the help

I would guess it depends on how many hours it takes to diagnose it. Prolly an hour or so labor charge.

Have you tried troubleshooting/diagnosing it yourself?

A little bit of research here (and specific questions) can go a long way...

With the nature of these cars and how costly it is to repair even the slightest of problems i would recommend looking into it here on the forum first. Perhaps you can save your self some money. To lead you in the right direction, i would check with the silonoids (man i cant spell, but you got the idea). Good luck with either direction you decide to take.

I fixed one for a customer 2 weeks ago for free because it took me all of 30 seconds to find the problems, however, I it could take up to $5-600.00 depending on the time spent to find the problem. Some times it is obvious but most the time it is not.
