Rear Main Oil Seal 1 $6.45 1668-10-556A
Front Main Oil Seal 1 $6.25 N3A1-10-507
Corner Seal Plug 12 $0.00 included
Corner Seal 12 $55.20 N326-11-C20A
Corner Seal Spring 12 $22.20 NF01-11-C24
Side Seal 12 $93.00 N3Y1-11-C11
Side Seal Spring 12 $51.60 NF01-11-C17
Thrust Bearings* 2 $31.60 NF01-11-D54
Oil Pump Chain 1 $22.50 N326-14-151
O-RING - OIL SEAL OUTER 4 $26.60 0820-11-341

OIL SEAL SPRING SET (STEEL) 4 $164.00 8871-23-180
SPRING - OIL SEAL FRONT OUTER 2 $6.70 4352-11-353
SPRING - OIL SEAL REAR OUTER 2 $6.70 4352-11-363

SPRING - OIL SEAL REAR INNER 2 $8.70 N225-11-361
Thermal Pellet Plug 1 atkins
Apex Seals 2mm 6 $264.30 N351-11-C00C
Apex Seal Springs Inner 6 $23.70 N326-11-C04A
Apex Seal Springs Outer 6 $25.80 N326-11-C06C
Hylomar® 1

I think that is everything but the tools, those are MazdaComp prices and is list as total price for the amount needed. You could go with RA Apex seals and save about $100.00. If you need to replace Rotor Housing, Side Housings or Rotors the price goes way up if you use new.

ROTOR HOUSING FRONT $505.80 N3Y2-10-S70
ROTOR HOUSING REAR $505.80 N3Y2-10-S80
Oil Pump $98.70 NF01-14-100
ROTOR $464.85 N3YA-11-B10

joa, I've got the same problem. Chadwick gave you a comprehensive list on rebuild parts. In regards to the white smoke, I believe it's the coolant seals, or O-Rings that are the culprit. I would do a couple of tests first, and perhaps send it in to a rotary shop for diagnosis to be sure that it's a bad coolant seal. It could be just water condensation, and not smoke.

A couple of tests I ran across:

1. Start your car, let it warm up, and turn off. Start your car again in about 20 minutes--if you smoke up again it could be a bad coolant seal.

2. Start your car with the radiator cap off and if coolant "fountains" out, you could have a bad coolant seal.

3. There's a also a hydrocarbon test that you can buy a kit for from an auto parts store, as well as have it done by a mechanic. I believe this measures the amount of exhaust present in your coolant in order to diagnose a coolant seal.

Guys out there, correct me if I'm wrong on any of the above.

Good Luck,

Marco

i had a similar problem and when i put a new set of turbos on it stopped. I guess it had to be a coolant seal in the turbo.

You really won't know "exactly" what you "need" until you break the engine down and inspect all the parts.

While you know you'll be replacing seals and o-rings, most of the rest will be unknown until seeing/inspecting the parts.

How do you define need? If I'm going through the effort of pulling the motor to replace a blown coolant seal, I NEED to replace all the other worn parts so I don't have to do it again in 6 months :). The difference between doing the job half assed and doing it right is about $400.00. For me that was the short list of what to replace, but then I am a bit anal with an engine rebuild. I shoot for 120 on all faces, if you can live with 80 to 90's be my guest and just order a gasket kit :D.

MAZDASPEED MOTORSPORTS DEVELOPMENT will NO LONGER be selling to non racers. You will need to be a registered member of our program, with current race results, to purchase ANY parts from us. You will also need to log in with a valid ID and password, to view our catalog.

It has been our policy in the past that if someone still wished to purchase a competition part, even though they weren't a member, we would still sell it to them. This is longer the case. (It will take some time for us to update all areas of our site to reflect this.)

There are many online stores catering to Mazda performance parts now, and with the new MAZDASPEED performance accessories that should be in Mazda dealerships soon, Mazda owners should be able to find the performance parts they need. Check out the Links Directory at the Mazda Performance Corner for help finding parts.

MAZDASPEED MOTORSPORTS DEVELOPMENT will be refocusing our business activities around our Team Support members and racing. We are busy making improvements to our site for the benefit of our racers.
They have gotten real picky over the last year or two about letting people in. Unless you have some AutoX or road racing time trial results using your RX7 within the last 2 years, most likely they won't let you join yet.

Your best bet is going to be Ray at Malloy Mazda.

joastarlet 01-23-06 04:14 PM

got any mail or something to ray?

another problem at mazdaspeedusa is that you have to live in America or canada.
I live in norway and have no plans to bulid a "race car only"...
