What is the normal oil pressure and temp for FD's...

I need to know what the normal oil pressure at idle and at full boost (10lbs) at upper RPM (4500+). And also temp.

Also, what causes high oil pressure and oil temp.

I've heard maybe non-oem oil filter cause higher pressure??

The oil pressure should be around 30 psi at idle, around 50-60 psi at 3k rpm and approaching 120 psi at redline.

Oil temps can vary a ton, what temps are you seeing and in what conditions?

My oil temps generally run around 20 degrees warmer than my coolant temps. I have a single stock oil cooler.

Rynberg cant tell you what normal oil temp are, because he never sees normal temps anymore :D

well, I'm trying to troubleshoot my over heating issue.
i'm pretty sure that my engine might be blown (bad coolant seal).. But can't accept that at the moment..

I'm seeing 110C at 3k rev for about 3-4 minutes.. My water temp was about 104C and started to drop after hitting that temp.. It went back to 91C and held for remainder of 3-4minute rev... then went back up.. and then I shut the car off..

I'm trying to see if this is acturally cause by bad engine coolant seal or something with turbo.. or even high oil temp or oil pressure.. I was seeing 3-4 bar at idle and 6 bar at push.. I'm going to get a pressure tester for my coolant system to see if the pressure drops over night.. I know it held 16lbs for 10 minutes or so.. but not sure about o/n.

I should also mention, I don't see any white smoke.. except when my car is still for couple of days.. which has always happened since I bought the car 3 years ago..

Also, I've driven 100+ miles (no boost) and maintained 89-94C on interstate (65-70 MPH).. but soon as I boost or put stress.. it over heats! I've gotten upto 124C..
I've replaced my thermostat, new cap (2x13 lb caps and 1x16lb cap... my 16lb cap broke).

I also have a single cooler..

here is my set up.. Greddy fmic, greddy oil filter neck with oil temp and oil pressure sensors..

That's exactly what I see with one exception: If it's very hot outside and I'm at the track banging on the car I will show just under 30 psi at idle. Past idle the pressures seem to stay the same.

If you think your coolant seals are bad, go to a radiator shop, and have them test your coolant for contaminants.
