what lowering springs are the best???
 

i was wondering if theres any difference in quality, brand,etc..
which lowering springs are best for the money???
just need opinions ....

Too bad they don't make coilovers for the FD, but they just came out with coilovers for the Supra...Can you believe that? Where are the fucking priorities?

I doubt Racing Beat produces thier own springs. I sent them an email just now asking, but most likely they just repackage Eibach or H&R springs like most other companies.

I have Eibachs on my 89 TII and I love them. I think that Im gonna go with the Apexi N1's on my 95 though.

I heard the Eibach springs tend to sag. Also, www.tirerack.com did a comparison test on Eibach and H&R Springs.

I've been running the Eibach Pro-Kit for a while and like it a lot.

Most reviews and comparisons I've seen between the Eibach and H&R show Eibach giving a better lowering effect but the H&R springs giving a little more stiffness.

Just depends on what you are going for I suppose.

I just found out that Racing Beat has thier springs made by a company in japan called Espelir.

From what I've read, the H&R will give you better ride comfort than Eibach, and will retain the same performance... Which is why I suggested H&R.

Even though each manufacturer makes special kits for each car, here is what was reported using a BMW:

H&R
"In the parking lot, the addition of H&R Sport Springs reduced the front wheelwell gap by about 1 1/2"; resulting in a wheelwell gap of only about 1" (which is also much less that the 2 3/4" visible sidewall height of the Plus Two wheel and tire package). Rear wheelwell gap was reduced to about 1/2" from the 1 1/4" gap with the stock suspension."

In the parking lot, the addition of Eibach Pro-Kit sport springs to the Plus Two wheel and tire package on our silver BMW 328i also caught your eye. However this time, the second look revealed that the Eibach Pro-Kit equipped car with the 18" wheel and tire package looked hunkered down on its suspension. The Pro-Kit springs reduced the front wheelwell gap by about 1 3/4"; resulting in a wheelwell gap of only about 3/4" (which is much less that the 2 3/4" visible sidewall height of the Plus Two wheel and tire package). Rear wheelwell gap was reduced to about 3/8" from the 1 1/4" gap with the stock suspension.

H&R: 1.25" front, 1.25" rear

Eibach: 1.00" front, 1.00" rear

Racing Beat: 1.50" front, 0.75" rear

I think its the other way around for the racing beat springs, don't they drop the front 3/4 and the rear 1 1/2?

i installed tanabe and they ride good
there are 2 types i have the super procedo down
my shit is slammed to 2inch + to the floor.
m2(mostlymazda) makes a great coilover-so does ground
control.
