What kind of things can go wrong on an engine with a failed OMP?

I'm looking at buying an engine core and was just wondering what kinda of things can be damaged when the omp fails? Or they forgot to pre-mix?

THE HORROR.... lots of stuff runied housings and irons. seized seals etc.. or nothing it is a crap shoot depends on how it was driven and for how long when it failed.

If you are still running the stock ecu (or Pettit/M2), the check engine light will come on and the ecu will go into "limp home" mode.
