It supplies boosted air to the primary injectors to help in atomization of the fuel.

really? that seems weird just because you'd think the boost pressure would be equalized between the charge pipe and the LIM and therefore no air would actually be moving from one space to the other, unless for a quick second before pressure got all the way thru the intercooler and throttle bodies. i guess theres no other explanation i cant think of though lol.

even in vacuum, the charge pipe is positive pressure.

even in boost the charge pipe has higher positive pressure (pressure drop in the pipes/IC/manifolds)
