What fuel pump is this (pics)???

I was about to order a new fuel pump, but wanted to make sure I didn't already have one. Good thing I checked.....anybody know what this is? My guess was that it was a bosch unit. How much does this thing flow and what type of HP ratings is it good for? Only thing, i don't see a pickup on the bottom of it anywhere. Should I fabricate one for it, or is this a big deal?

Is there a screen on the bottom of the fuel pump?

Looks like a Bosch.

The the M2 Bosche ala Wael el Dasher. Unfortunately it doesn't work too well under 1/2 tank of gas because vortices form at the castle nut and draw in air.

fuel pomp

Iam running same pomp it's VENOM parts# hp733-515 in tank.
This pump is good for 1000hp
Flows about 100 gallons per hour and can maintian 100psi.;)

Spool Up 01-05-04 08:33 PM

yea....i checked the side and it says "12v Bosch Czech Republic" Hmm.....1000hp dunno if that will be enough for my stock turbos and greddy SMIC. I think I'm going to try to make a fuel pickup for it. Is there any downside to running this massive a pump if all I plan on doing is running around 12-15psi on the stock twins w/ 850cc injectors all around?

vosko 01-05-04 08:42 PM

you can never have too much fuel just don't go racing around with 1/4 tank of gas or less

i run that pump with the stock pickup
