What do u think of these reverse lights?
http://www.procarparts.com/product/M...-XXRE-BL2X.JPG
They look like they will allow more light to shine through the housing than the stock ones. I wish the refelctor part was red. I have limo-tint windows and even with 55watts hallogen reverse lights I could still use a little more help. |
I think they are alright...I don't really care for the stock ones. How much are they?
|
ya i like those. they would look good on a white or black car. where can we buy these?
|
I thought those were the side markers in the front...or maybe the guy on the ebay auction listed it wrong with the wrong pic. His auction was for those lights, but had them listed as the front side markers...so he screwed up I guess.

The fronts for the original bumper dont have screws. The rear quarter panel ones have 2 screws, the jspec fender ones dont have screws either, reverse lights on the back bumper have 1 screw.
Cool, but not my cup of tea, I dont like the diamond cut look. |
Batman/jt-impoorts are right,
they are the rear bumper reverse lights, and they are like 79 bux on ebay if I'm not mistaking. Personaly I'd think about smoking them before you install'em, they nice. |
If you like the cheap casino-style look... :)

OFF TOPIC*
Nice shot in your ADVATAR Diablone |
Thanks, but the credit goes to RE-Amemiya (or whoever takes their pics :).
|
They look pretty good on my black 93. :)
|
And yes they are much brighter than the stock ones. I used some purple backup bulbs looks pretty cool to me.
|
The quality was better than I expected for the price.
|
Does anybody have a pic of them in a black FD?
|
BradMahoney can you post a pic of yours please
|
yeah...... stop teasing us.... u tease ;)
|
They suck.
The first time I (hand) washed my car one of them leaked and I had moisture inside. Cheap ass ricer junk. The lines on the inside of them were wavey too. Back they go!:thumbd: |
is this the same maker?
or are their different makers? |
E-mail me and I will send you a pic of mine. I never have much luck posting pics. :)
|
No moisture in mine.......Yet. I hope that doesn't happen to me, moisture in lenses looks really crappy. :(
I have had mine for several months though. |

I took it out a while ago and dryed it out with a hair dryer. I am going to epoxy the seams. maybe that will fix it. But I would not recomment these to anyone. I got mine off e-bay from procarparts. I wish I would have not read this thread I was happy in my ignorant state of mind. :) but now I am sad. :( damn you. Brady |
I will feel better tomorrow. I am getting up @ 4:30 in the morning and heading to Dallas to pick up the rest of my manual tranny swap parts. :)
|
This is where you can pick up some ( fish tanks) for the back of your car.

Yeah, I kind of like the more modern look. But if they don't work, then they aren't worth the $$.
