WHAT DO I MOD NEXT!!!!!!!!!!!
 

i just bought the car, it has pfs intake/a boost gauge mouned behind the steering wheel, donno what brand, im pretty sure it has stock exhaust but it has racing beat muffler, it has the original engine. should i ride the engine until it dies then mod the rebuilt engine, or mod it up now? if i mod the engine now and it dies, woudl there be any problem putting the parts onto the rebuilt engine?

haha actually i posted some stupid stuff in those previous posts, and i was embarassed and tried to delete them, but i coudlnt' so i had to replace them wtih those anyones.. haha thanks for the help.

Glad you found your car. 1st go to an rx7 guru and have them look the car over replacing anything that needs it. Participate in some autocrosses etc.. Once you get a good feel for it put on a down pipe, catback, and intake along with a well tooned pfc. Again get a good feel for the car and just keep progressing from there. the next mod that i would suggest would be an APEXI powerfc. i know that alot of people say that you dont need it till you have 3 mods but the truth is that it not only gives you the flexibility for future mods and much higher horsepower but it also makes the car run alot smoother. as soon as i had mine installed i thought that i was driving a brand new car. no more hesitation and it reved so easily and smoothly. i highly suggest that you do it next, its one upgrade that you will definately not regret

Racing Beat does not sell an FD muffler, you have an RB cat-back. This means that you have two mods - intake and cat-back. If you put on a downpipe, you will have three air flow mods and you may boost too much. You want to see a 10-8-10 or maybe an 11-9-11 pattern with the stock ecu. Any higher and you could hit fuel-cut. Not good. You could also detonate from running lean.

I would suggest you get the car a full 60k mile service so you know where you stand. Replace the AST. You can wait on an upgraded radiator unless your's is in bad shape.

Like others said, take your time. Don't be in such a hurry to mod the thing. Get used to the power of a near stock car, which is pretty considerable as is. :)

do all the relibility mods, that should take you a while to complete, btw they cost anywhere from 2-4k
