Of the "showy' colours, yellow is my favorite......but my vote goes to Snow White Pearl Mica (17W), the rarest factory colour of all.

I had to send money to Japan for this car, but the wait was worth it.

Oh that's just where that web site said it might be and I figured with there being only one it made scene. Hell of a find thanks.

picture

Perlie White was the most rare color made. Only ONE MADE.

stubba 02-23-10 10:43 PM

I am quite fond of the white RZ look

how can a user with the name Montego sell out like that :-p

I love Montego blue. its not a simple color. That said, i cant do simple things to the car. lol

redrider13 02-23-10 11:27 PM

I would feel bad if I bought a rare(r) color, and then decided that it needed to be painted. Thats why I could never buy a CYM or a montego blue unless they were in pristine condition.

Well I don't know if there was only one made (there is a lot of world outside America), but in any event I'm happy to settle for the silver medal :).

1. SSM
2. CYM
3. MB

I personally went with SSM mostly because it is not a common color to see and living in the country when you have a lot of pollen around at certain times of the year it makes cleaning it and keeping it clean not as much of a pain in the ass..

After 10 years of ownership (it's now 12) I was itching for a change. :)

ROTARise 02-24-10 10:38 AM

Well i love the Fd model and it really doesnt matter to me if i find it in white blue red kiwi pink(well maybe not pink) but you get me.
But for you i choose ---BLACK---

adam c 02-24-10 10:55 AM

Silver or white: Easier to keep clean, less apt to fade, classic looks, dont attract tickets.

I love the way my BB looks, but know that the darker colors (BB,MB) will cause the front bumper to appear wavy if they sit in the sun too much.

FD3S2005, your FD is so clean bro, the chances of me or anyone finding a yellow one in that condition is slim to none. THats why im down to silver white or black. By the way is that original paint???

thanks, thats when i first got it like 4 or 5 years ago, its a very chipped in the front bumper now from semi dd-ing it so im trying to get 99spec front for it and repaint the whole car.. no its not original. used to be montego but the owner before me had it painted.. it has ppg candy paint a little pearl and metalic in it..

The info on that site is wrong. The Pearl White car belongs to pablo_escobar on the forum. I PM'd him recently about it. I even contacted mazda to see if they wanted to buy it when it was for sale. Pablo said he was going to ls1 it if it isnt sold.

Yeah I found that out. I just figured that mazda would have it since there was only one made.

If these cars ever become collectable he will wanna kick in his own teeth in for going LS1. FD's are rather affordable these days so if I were him I'd store the white one, and get a second one to bastardize.

I couldn't agree more.

Supernaut 02-25-10 07:22 PM

Actually, I think the car had 60k+ on it. Not exactly mint. Im sure there are better examples in Japan.
