what all affects fuel rate?
my car seems to be running rich but with white smoke, the fuel thermosenssor code is on?

White smoke is generally coolant burning. Fuel/richness is black.

the white smoke smells of fuel. i'v heard of instances where excess fuel can come out white. since there is a code for the fuel thermosensor, would that change any of the fuel settings? it only happens at WOT, at idle, or at partial throttle up to about 3k there is no smoke.

Have you tried inspecting, fixing or replacing the fuel thermosensor? That's where I would start.
The Service Highlights Manual gives some details about the Fuel Thermosensor. Check page F-32 (pg.49 of the PDF) for the location, and F-37 (pg.54 of the PDF) lists a few things that effect the amount of fuel injected. -s- |
The thermosensor may need replaced, but the wiring too is often damaged. So inspect that too if the t/s meets spec.
