While under my car installing my new cat back...

I saw a canister that had a hose coming out the bottom of it going no where.

It is above the axle on the drivers side.

Can anyone save me the work of looking it up and also tell me if this hose is to be connected to something...

I also see I have a small seal leak on that axle. Damn, I'll get it when I install my unob. bushings next week.

I don't think you need to worry about that some times it could be just to release some air i would guess or condinsation of some kind. Are the edges of the tube torn of broken. On my CBR F4i you see three tubes just open to the floor. Don't know what they are for though.

On my GSX-R I have tubes as well 1 is for the battery vent and the others are for the Carb overflow drains.

The end of the tube is cracked or slitted. I'll have to look at my other one at my parents and see if it is the same. I know that car was never messed with.

My friends dirtbike (YZ250) has about 4 or 5 tubes. I was thinking what the hell did he disconnect at first, then he told me they where just drain tubes.
Poor YZ250, it needs work to say the least :)
