Weird question...Flimsy passenger floor?

OK this is an odd one.

First of all my car has zero rust anywhere. It came from a dry climate and is extremely clean underneath.

I noticed something the other day that kinda concerned me. I have the interior stripped out of my car and if I stand/squat on the passenger side floor kinda between the rearmost seat mounts, and if I sort of hop up and down a little bit, I can feel and see the floor flexing under my feet. If I do the same thing on the driver's side it is solid with no flex. I only weigh about 150lbs. Should I be worried and has anyone else noticed this phenomenon before? The car shows no evidence of having been wrecked; the sealer looks the same on both sides of the floor. It's kind of mysterious to me and disconcerting.

I've never had my seats out. But since your sure of no collision or rust, my guess is that the area you've described was just never meant to support any weight. At least not at a focused point. Unless you can get it to flex near the mounting points of the seat, I doubt it's anything to worry about.

Nope, it doesn't flex the seat mounting points so maybe that's just how it is. It's just odd that it doesn't do the same thing on the driver's side.

Anyone got a stripped roller outside that they can try this on?

Walk on the hood and tell us what happens there?
Parts are made to perform prescribed functions, not what you think they should do.
