weird ass boost problem...
ok... so for a while I was trying to figure out why I had low boost at transition. I checked a few things and just decided to go non-seq. While under the car and looking at the TCA I noticed that the rod was popped clear off , and c-clip was no where to be found and it wasjust chillen there. so I thought this had to be my problem. So I put it back on crossing my fingers that I'd fixed my problem. NO such luck, now when I hit secondary it sounds like a tornado and all my boost leaks out... where could it be leaking?!??? someone help please!

Check ALL your rubber boost connections from the y-pipe to the throttle body. Take then off and flex them and look for cracks that can open under boost. The one from the y-pipe to the crossover is usually the first to go.
I blew my hose from the IC to the intake elbow last night. Luckily I had a set of Greddy hardpipes handy. Putting an efini y-pipe on is also usual for correcting that problem (no rubber connector on the efini y-pipe). Also check your IC if is the OEM with plastic end tanks. |

This is what you do start pulling everythiung off that is above the turbos. When you find the hose that is cracked or broken.. replace it. If you get all the way down to the turbos and you didn't see anything then you went to far...LOL J/K
Although thats not a bad way to start |
