Walbro Install? (I seached, but nothing really helpful)
Hey guys,
I just got my new walbro fuel pump and was looking for some good directions on the install since I don't believe it is a straight drop in. Anywho, does anyone know some good directions for the install. I found the write up about re-wiring it (which I will be doing at the same time) , but nothing about a new fuel pump install. Can anyone help out?? thanks guys, -josh ;) |
Josh, I can help you with the install (since I just installed mine about 3 weeks ago)...its very straight forward except you have to splice the two wires that went to the old fuel pump and crimp them to the walboro. Give me a call if you need help 504-710-8573.

Edward,
I am probally going to do it this weekend if you are available. I need to install my 99 spec front lip also if you want to lend a hand. I am scrapping the RB lip if any body wants it FYI. It is in perfect condition except for a little nik on the very front from rubbing a wheel bumper thingy once. |

Wow how did I not see this!!^^^
Thanks Mahjik you are da man! -josh |

Looks like this one, but is black. Really follows the lines of the car well! I will try to find a pick of it on my car.

that post is for Denso pump though. I remeber there was a post reguarding exactly which wires to splice. i just got my walbro w/out knowing nippondenso supra pump is a better choice. I don't wanna have to buy another pump, so i'm gonna put this one in and I need this info as well.. Can anyone please post a pic of the walbro wired up? or have the link to that thread on walbro re-wiring? thx in advance |
