Very wierd battery problem....look
 
Most of the time my car starts and drives fine. But every once in a while, it will go through a wierd phase. Here's a scenerio.

I drive the car home, park it, wait for the turbo timer to shut off, then lock it and get out. Next morning, or whenever i drive it next, I get in, hit the brakes and take the e-brake off. Stick the key in. At this point, the brake lights light up, the interior light lights up, and if the door is open, the key beeper is goin off. The second I turn the key to the ignition spot, all power is gone. No crank, no more tail lights, nothing.

This is when it gets wierd. I set the e-brake again, take out the key, and my stereo is flashing, and my turbo timer is flashing. So i set my e-brake down, shutting off the turbo timer, and it all goes black. But then if I reset the e-brake, it all starts flickering and flashing again.

Last time this happened I would charge the battery everytime, till it was full, then try to start it and it would just die. The only way to start it was from a jump off another car. It went away, for some wierd reason, but now its doing it again and I have no idea what is causing this, or what it is. Any help appreiciated. Thanks

How tight are your battery terminals? They don't have any acid on them do they?

Sounds like a problem with the turbo timer wiring. Might want to go through it to check for loose connections. Also, check for corrosion on your battery terminals and good grounds.

I checked my battery terminals. The positive terminal is a little loose, but the problem is, it is as tight as it will go. It almost seems like it got stretched out.

The slightest loose fit can allow corrosion to form between the battery terminal and the connector. And it's not something that's easily seen, either. Take both of them off, scrub both the connector and the terminal with a battery brush (or something of the sort, or just carefully scrape them the mating surfaces with a sharp instrument). You might have to get a new positive terminal connector.

Do this, pull both terminals off, go to autozone and buy a wire brush (they will sell them in a packs of 3 for like $5). Scrub scrub scrub those battery terminals!!! When they are completely clean of any corrosion then apply a small amount of grease around the posts, just enough to leave a very thin film of it over them, this is to prevent corrosion in the future. Put the battery cables back and and get them as tight as you possibly can. It wouldn't surprise me if it 'stretched', probably more like warped. The terminals aren't all that solid and in some cases pretty plyable, I'd imagine all the heat from the motor also played a part in the warping. After it is as tight as you can get it using hand tools, if it is still lose, go find yourself a hammer. Beat the living tar out of the terminal until it's griping as well as you think it can :)

Ditto i would start with checking out the wiring on the turbo timer. If you cant find anything wrong then disconnect the turbo timer all together and see if your having the same problems.
