Value of CYM 93 FD's?
What is the value on the competition yellow 93 rx7? I've noticed that seller try to sell the items at a higher price.

Usually $10,387.32, though the price can vary depending on mileage and condition.
|
They are priced somewhat higher than the rest of the 93s being that only 350 were made. You have to be more specific in terms of modifications mileage condition etc

They do sell for a higher price. Nothing really more special about them other than the rare color. If you don't want to pay a higher price, buy a different color:). |

I just bought a mint, all original, stock CYM with 44,200 miles on it for $19,000
That price is about right imo, CYM's usually go for a few grand higher than 93 of a different color... |
They usually sell for about 2-3k more than any other color with the exception of white. Atleast this is my conclusion from my previous experiences.

Well you really cant compare with white as white was only offered in 94 and 95 which would automaticly make them worth more if in same condition. |
In my experience white FDs are worth less. I had a sweet 94 white FD, new motor, etc. Couldn't sell it, several people said man I like it the car but I don't like the color...
A friend of mine had a different white FD for sale, same problem, people didn't want white... |
Hmm, its been the oposite effect over here, people seem to always look for white and compliment it when seen.
|
I would guess that the reason some people don't want white is because it's just like black, you can't keep it clean. They both look georgious when they are shining clean.

people like white fd over here,i was going to buy one for myself but i can't find one and end up with silver.i love white fd

I love white. It took me forever to find the one I bought.
|
Yeah took me forever to find mine too, but id rather have it than any other color.

Lots of people here say white FDs are awesome, problem is a lot of BUYERS don't want to BUY one, opinions might vary state to state. At one time I owned a white FD, white F-150 and a white Maxima. I'm not saying I didn't like white, I'm saying I couldn't sell it easily:).
White FDs are hard to find, not many of them made. Something makes me wonder why I've had 2 white FDs (out of 20 FDs) and never had a Silver one... |
