Vacuum Tube Straight On The Rotor Housing On Filler Tube Connector!?!
OKAY! DOES ANYONE HAVE WHAT LOOKS LIEK A VACUUM PIPE COMING OFF THE FILLER NECK CONNECTOR ON THE ROTOR HOUSING?...Here is a picture, its a large file but you can see this one small pipe coming right out of the housing...kind of a blurry shot but that was the best I could do.

That's for the PCV system - the vent for the oil pan/crankcase.

if it is at the bottom of the flange by the housing it is the PCV from an older center housing 89-92 i believe. There is no problem in capping that one as long as you still have the PCV hooked up properly to the regular nipples on the black plastic filler neck;)

yeah the PCV is hooked up fine
so I'll just close it off then... Older housing? Oh man okay I figured it was somehting liek that...I hope i didnt get screwed over with this rebuilt block...its a reman. |
The iron housings are interchangeable betwen the years. Just cause it is that era doesn't mean that it has 13 years + use on it. It may be a new one for all we know. The remnas i just got(2) One had that nipple the other did not. No biigy at all.
