Vacuum readings?

What should the normal vacuum readings at idle when the car is warmed up? I'm getting -36 cmHg. Is that a bit high?

Most stock get 18-20. Do a search on the topic. Yours seems excessively high.

Actually your reading a little low, but nothing to worry about. 38cmHg = 15inHg. That's weird though, I've never seen a gauge with centimeters instead of inches, does your boost read in PSI or Bar?

I have a Blitz Turbo Timer/Boost Gauge, so it reads in Bar.

Both my FDs were a little bit funny. Regardless of how hard I tried to adjust, they both idled around 500 rpm. I know that this is about 200-300 rpm less than what it's supposed to. At this rpm, my car gets between 12-14 in/HG. Funny thing is when I add electrical load (such as truning on the parking lights) into the equation, the car automatically ups the idle up to about 700 rpm, and vacuum goes to 15-17 in/HG.

Porting, altitude, and idle RPM can change the readings significantly, but most healthy stock-ported engines give 15+ inHg, and ported engines tend to make less vacuum. A street port should give about 12+ inHg.

Hey, at least im not alone. My car idles at 500 all the time. As soon as i put my lights on, the idle jumps to about 750. I thought it was just my fd cause i never heard this. Any suggestions?
