Vacuum Line on Turbo Control Actuator
I'm currently replacing my vacuum lines and the only one I am unable to remove is the vacuum line attached to the front of turbo control actuator. If someone could inform me I would appreciate it. Thanks

Removing that hose with the TCA in place is incredibly uncomfortable and very difficult to get a tool into that space to pull the hose out.
You're going to save yourself a lot of time and hand pain if you just remove the TCA, takes about 15min, change the hose and then put it back on the car. |
^ agreed!! When i did my vacuum hose job it was the only hose i couldnt change so i left it there. Test drove the car and found out my TCA was a goner and when i got down there again to replace it changing the hose was a breeze... and all it takes is a few minutes to get it out. Get the heat shield out and then take the 2 bolts holding the TCA to the bracket. Done!
p.s.: go on and test the TCA while you're at it if you havent done it yet. |
Thanks for the tip. I did check my TCA and it's in working order.
