Leave it on. Why do you want to remove it anyway?

It is needed. Vacuum system won't work without it.

if your turbos are still set up sequentially, then yes, you need it. If they're non-sequential, then I don't think you need it. Anyone care to confirm?

It stores a vacuum charge, and I think when a solenoid opens or closes, it applies all that stored vacuum to an actuator or something. I think, anyway.

That's the Pressure chamber, not the vacuum chamber you simpletons.

Now if I could just figure out where the blue connector under the UIM goes & the hose from the airbox ??????????????????

Grab a flashlight and look under the chamber before you attempt a "cleaner" look

the blue connector under the UIM
It's for the EGR on California cars only

the hose from the airbox
That's where you stick a police whistle for that cool tweet sound (j/k)

Well, why don't you just remove the engine, that will leave a nice clean look too!
