vaccum chamber...
basically little black box right next to your throttle body the guy with all the vacum hoses attached to him? is he needed or could i take him off?

It is needed. Vacuum system won't work without it.

if your turbos are still set up sequentially, then yes, you need it. If they're non-sequential, then I don't think you need it. Anyone care to confirm?
It stores a vacuum charge, and I think when a solenoid opens or closes, it applies all that stored vacuum to an actuator or something. I think, anyway. |
That's the Pressure chamber, not the vacuum chamber you simpletons.
Now if I could just figure out where the blue connector under the UIM goes & the hose from the airbox ?????????????????? |
Grab a flashlight and look under the chamber before you attempt a "cleaner" look
