nice

The pictures aren't showing. :( Where in North Cali are you? I'm moving just north of Sacramento next year. I'd really like to see the pix of your V-mount since I'm planning on running one on my FD as well. Where did you get yours?

Looks nice but I don't like that battery location.

jgtcspec7 11-22-03 07:47 PM

Where's your air separation tank? Or, did you leave it out of the equation.

Beautiful install and look. Gives it that, "wtf is that" look

Cossie 11-22-03 08:47 PM

I never had an air seperator tank....

I do wish there was provision for some sort of a cold air intake....

BoostedRex 11-22-03 08:52 PM

Hey Cossie, is there any way that you can email me or send me a link to the pix. For some jacked up reason I can't see them in this thread. I think it's because I'm on a government computer. Damned firewalls!!

Do you have any way of monitoring intake temps? If you do, is there a really noticeable difference?

Looks nice btw :)

Scrub 11-23-03 02:34 AM

Nice job on the install. I personally would have liked to see the Intercooler mounted more vertically and the Radiator mounted at more of a horizontal angle.

voodooracing 11-23-03 02:37 AM

frush... :)

SkywarpR 11-23-03 02:45 AM

How much was it, which one is it and where did you get it? Self installed? It looks awesome!

Nice V-mount
How much would a set up like that set me back?

Larz 11-23-03 01:49 PM

How much did the V mount cost? I just saw an article on it. I think it was in super street.

79CI13B 11-23-03 02:08 PM

Yep I seen it too
I believe it was those guys @ SIGNAL AUTO

GoodfellaFD3S 11-23-03 02:22 PM

Very nice looking :).

I'd be curious to see some numbers for your setup vs mine (M2 large SMIC, fluidyne rad exposed due to complete a/c elimination) to be able to quantify any gains......

Mr. Stock 11-23-03 03:04 PM

Looks good. I would be interested in how effective the setup is also.

By the way, did you install it yourself?

I was browsing your photos and saw that you had your engine apart. Did you rebuild that as well?

Was that the price shipped?

Fong,

Does the AC still in there? I don't see the condenser. Would it be possible to keep the AC?

BoOsTin FD 11-23-03 06:02 PM

That looks to me as a very large Smic, rather than V mount. However, it's very nice, good job on it :)

twokrx7 07-14-04 08:17 PM

Where's the A/C condenser? Does the kit retain the A/C?

KaiFD3S 07-14-04 09:29 PM

very nice Cossie, mine will be installed as soon as my intakes come in, cant wait....
