UPS Truck arrived!!!

...and brought a lot of goodies with it!

THE GOOD:

RB front and rear sway bars with front sway bar mount reinforcer

RB dual cat back

RX-7 Book

Royal Purple 10W30 and MaxGear 75W90 and 2 OEM oil filters

I had received the H&R Sport Springs 2 weeks ago from ebay

and still need to get an SR upgraded SMIC (ebay), R1 dual oil coolers (forum member), KS EBSIII boost controller (ebay) and my Bonez DP back from JetHot... all of these ordered but haven't arrived yet.

I'm gonna be very busy installing all these things!!! :bigthumb:

THE BAD:

The muffler arrived with a coin sized ding on the side (nickel or quarter more or less), it won't affect performance, should I call RB and complain or just install it and forget about it?:(

THE UGLY:

I'M EXTREMELY POOR!!! :D

If you can't see the ding with the muffler on the car, I wouldn't worry. The muffler will eventually get scrapes on the bottom and stuff anyhow. If it's super visible, it might be worth talking to Racing Beat about - you paid the money, you should have a nice product.

Pics!!! I don't think the ding will be visible... thoughts??

I weighted the cat back and it came to 27 lbs even (+-0.5) for those that wondered about it...:D

That ding won't be visible - it will be right up against the muffler heat shield. MAYBE if you got under the car and were specifically looking for it...

I'd keep it and have fun with the car :).

I agree.

I would still e-mail the pic to RB so they can get with UPS. They might be able to get partial reimbursement for the freight damage and pass it on to you.

And have fun with your busy weekend lucky bastid! *envious* :D

I emailed RB with a picture of the dent and they gave me a great service! Two options: Return the muffler for an exchange or keep it and they would send me 2 Racing Beat polo shirts.

Since the dent won't be visible or affect performance I took the shirts!! :D

Ya i would call RB and tell them what happened they may give you the shipping back and have u keep what you have or if not just have you send that one back and send out another which you dont have to do. It most likely wont be visible though.

Unless you decide to keep the muffler forever then you can opt for the shirts, but if you don't intend to keep it forever it could affect re-sale value.

i'll keep it forever... besides it'll probably get dented with time. i'm happy with the shirts
:)
