Undertray Question
So I need an undertray for my 93 stock bumper. Does the shineauto undertray FD3S RX-7 Misc. Items | Shine Auto Project
fit stock bumper? I know it says for 99 spec bumper, but how different would it be to stock 93? I don't mind cutting a bit off if its too long? Or just look for a 93 undertray. Thanks for the insight!!!!!!!! |
I don't know anything about the shine undertray but I did pick up a lrb speed one and am very happy with the product and is made to fit the 93-95 bumper and is aluminum I would say check it out before u go and pick up a shine one

Thanks I will check into theirs!

Just buy a 93 OEM under tray. It has way better ducting than the Shine under tray

Here's the LRB one:

Also I think you can still get new undertrays from Mazda. I want to say they're $150-ish or so.

The OEM undertray is worth every penny. My car had a hacked up OEM tray from the previous owner, missing the top air baffle and some other strange mods. After I replaced it with a new tray I noticed a marked drop In ECT.
Get a new or good/unmodified used OEM tray for best cooling performance. Just my .02 Edit: It looks like the LRB tray also has some good coverage to block airflow loss on the sides, and a deflector plate to seal off the bottom. Probably works pretty good. Would still go with the OEM tray though... |
