Undertray and fender liner fasteners?
 

i bought the undertray and fender liners off a forum member and im trying to install them, but i dont know what kind of clips, bolts, whatever i need to attach them properly.

can anyone who has done this help me out with what bolt sizes or whatever i will need to get these in?

I'd call Ray Crowe and get them new. There are two types of plastic fasteners that hold the fender liner on and metal screws around the fender that screw into plastic clips.

The undertray just has 6mm bolts (10mm heads) with washers where it bolts up to the body, the front of it bolts to the bumper with a shoulder bolt.

thanks a ton for the into, but you dont think i could get the clips for the liners at home depot or an auto parts store? ive called ray for fasteners before and if i remember he wanted something like 4$ each.

u can get then from auto zone like 35 cents each

^Yes. I recently picked up two seperate types at the local ADVANCED AUTO, one style for the liner and another for the hatch carpet. Both were almost identical. Or you can try at a collision repair shop. I've got them there before too, for free. :)

The interior plastic clips, the ones securing the interior panels, are a different story. Those you may have to call MALLOY for.

Well i got the fender liners installed, all went well and i got the clips for like 15$ for everything at napa.

however the undertray i bought wont fit with my fmic. I wish i had realized that before i bought the damn thing :/

anyone need a plastic undertray? :)

After I put my FMIC in, I went without for a week or so and temps were under control on the street, but not as cool as it should have been on the highway.

I bought one and removed the baffle thing on top by drilling out the rivets. This and some trimming to the sides to allow space for AC lines gave me enough room to squeeze it on. Now on the highways it runs at the thermostat temp. It's gotta help for those track days. Personally, I wouldn't run w/o it. Plus I don't like seeing the ground through the opening in the bumper, but maybe your IC fills it.

Yup, Lowe's, Home Depot, and most auto parts stores have automotive fasteners that should work.

I picked up a couple from Home Depot for the rear of the undertray. I forget which ones are used in the fender liner, but I'm sure it won't be hard to find something.

And yes, I do need an undertray that isn't busted up like mine. ;)
