U-Joint

Can the U joints be replaced on a 3rd gens drive shaft?

No.

At least that is what I am told, and I KNOW from experience that you can't replace the U-joints on a Mazda pickup like I have, you HAVE to be the friggin' driveshaft complete!

I asked at O'Reilly's and AutoZone and they both said "No listing"
on a 3rd gen RX-7.......

One advantage of the CF driveshaft is that it has servicable U-joints. You may want to consider it as an alternative.
