TWO questions about twins
I know I'm probably beating the dead horse with these question, but was hoping to get some unanswered questions. I already read the thread(s) several times.
Everyone is going to non-sequential for the obvious reasons, but does every aftermarket standalone or piggyback ecu support this mod? I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of ecu they are using for this mod, as I too am debating this, but was wondering if the ecu was a factor. Also I notice people selling non-sequential rx7 turbos all the time. But when you remove the turbos itself its still a damn sequential, am I right? Am I missing something because all your doing is rearranging the vacuuming as to make the turbos work together. So minus the vacuuming its still the same thing. |
If u want to be safe, get an aftermarket ecu. That way, u can adjust anything and everything if u do come across some problems. However, I believe the stock ecu is enough to control non - seq twins. If u can't get an answer, there's only one way to find out. ;)
Or u can get a piggyback system and control the stock ecu. But if I were you, i would get an aftermarket ecu. |

TwinTurbo93 has a non sequential set up with Pettits unlimited ECU... He could probably help you too.

You can mod the pre-controll actuator to keep the door open, that way you can reverse the non-seq.
