Twin turbo intake install
 

I picked up some used HKS intakes from a friend who is going single turbo. I’m almost ready to start installing them but the intake pipe for the turbo closest to the radiator has two metal brackets, one for each stud, that attach to some hard lines and prevent the black elbow from coming off. Is there an easy way to get these brackets out of the way?

According to this seems like they’re actually vacuum lines, doesn’t seem so bad. I figured they were oil lines

Yeah, you just manually force them out of the way to install the HKS Pipe then lay them back over top.

I have some I need to sell soon. I loved how they looked installed, but I also went single turbo.
