twin removal...manifold stud inaccessible

hey guys, im taking out the twins to put in a single and ive got everything off except the exhaust manifold. i took off the heat shield and i can get to 3 of the 4 bolts/studs. i dont know how to get to the bottom right (front end of car) bolt/stud to get it off. any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure what the problem is.....you should be able to get at it from underneath with a 14mm deep socket, extension, and a long-handled ratchet. You'll need the extra torque that the long-handled ratchet will give you.

IIRC, you might need to unbolt the actuator to get to the bolt easily. The actuator is just on there with two bolts.

ya i think its the actuator, just having trouble taking it off

Just undo the c-clip on the actuator arm. Then undo the two bolts (IIRC 12mm) from the actuator mounting plate. That will allow it to swing free from the exhaust manifold and then you should have access to that final nut.

great, thanks

Heh. You can tell I've been working on some non-seq cars lately :D
