twin bov= show

single=best

Twin BOV's add about 20HP over one BOV on twin turbo setups and a bit more on single turbo setups. Its been proven by butt dyno testing because the noise is twice as loud!!

The funny thing is that was typed with no sense of sarcasm what so ever. I bet if I didnt write this he would take you seriously and actually think he would get 20hp. ROFL!!!

saburo 11-13-04 04:07 PM

2 is always better than 1

ha ha ha, seriously though all you need is one....just replace the one that sits close to the filter...

Actually, don't do anything until you understand the twin sequential turbo operation and the purpose of all the parts. If you want a quick run down of the system, then just ask.

the_glass_man 11-13-04 07:50 PM

It's best to put it as close to the TB as possible.

1QWIK7 11-13-04 08:04 PM

LOL @ this thread

i prefer 2 though, i dont think i can handle more than 2..it would be just a waste..

Yea...the 2nd one isn't really a BOV at all, is it? It's a CRV, to release pre-spool to the 2nd turbo, correctly?

The only company i really know that makes a twin bov kit for an fd is ARC, if im wrong can you guy post what other companies make twin bov kit for an fd.

actually its quieter with 2 bovs cause you just reduced the air pressure through each hole by 1/2.

;)

and my 2 bovs give me 21 extra ponies

Icemastr 11-14-04 01:57 PM

Actually FD's come stock with two BOV's

Some cars, like the 300ZX actually require 2 BOVs since they have two separate throttle bodies...(if I'm not mistaken)
