Turn signals & horn just stopped working

I haven't modified anything lately, but they all just stopped working this morning...anyone have an idea why this would happen? Also which fuse to check to remedy?

TIA

maybe a fuse. I would start there.

[B][I] hey what up man, don't know if newer cars are the same but there is a thing called a clockspring that is inside the steering wheel that allows all of your electronics to work. especially turn signals and horn!!!! these are the most common to go out. call your local dealer and ask if rx7 has clockspring.

i had the same problem when i bought my car, it ended up being a bad ground by the front bumper. there is a white plastic manifold of black wires (all grounds)

always check the simple things first.

fuse

grounds

anything else that could be causing the problem.

but when multiple systems go out, look for common points of control. clockspring (if the fd has one) would be a good bet, however, turnsignal wires are usually run outside the steering shaft itself, so i dont see that being a common point. multiple things that stop working at once usually indicates a popped fuse. also, dont just slap one in and hope for the best, match fuse ratings, and also check to see if there could be a short somewhere. I usually test a 1-3 amp fuse first, since that will indicate a short without using the accessories if it pops.
