Turbosmart e-boost street

Has anybody used this EBC on the twins?

Doesn't seem as simple as the Profec S but does control boost drop at higher RPM's.

I have it on my 04 cobra with twin 6262's and I plan to run it on my single turbo rx. Its a pretty awesome boost controler. Has alot of options, to help decrease spool time, over boost, boost spike, 3 user set boost seting, boostactuated switching (abilty to turn on WI at certain psi), different boost setting for different gears. just going off the top off my head but its pretty cool.

Thinking about it im surprised more people dont use more of there products on here. They make awesome bov and wastegates as well.

My brother used it in his twin gt30r truck and he seemed to like it. Pretty simple controller. It's nice with the digital readout and different boost settings. Not to mention as said before the trigger for AI. My brother had his trigger his meth injection.

I was going to use the Profec S but I stumbled across the Turbosmart unit. Little more complex wiring but I assume it slices into the pre controller acctuator and wastegate vacuum lines the same as the Profec S...

Only downside for me is that is one BIG junky looking box. I wouldn't want something that hardware store looking in my interior.

Dale,
It's very small and you can put it in the glove box.

I have the Eboost2 on my boat and really enjoy is's simplicity and flexibility. Rock solid waste gate control once set up. The down side is you really need dyno time to get it right especially for the sensitivity setting.

Turbosmart eboost 2 here. and it's a awesome controller . and the stage boost is just awesome

You have the same set up I am currently working with. Does your boost drop off at higher RPM's with the Profec? The Profec isn't a closed system and the Turbosmart e-boost compensates for drooping boost at higher rpm's...

FD3S2005 02-29-12 10:52 PM

i have no dropping of boost with the twins at all.

RiceFx306 02-22-14 09:33 PM

Does it have the same variable boost settings as the eBoost 2?
