turbos oil leak!

Today when I raised my car up and looked under the hood where the turbos relies I notice there was oil leaking around the turbos. The secondary and the primary turbo both leaks. Please look at the pictures where I circle. Where I circle is where the leak is coming from, from both turbos..

Does this mean a rebuild or new turbos...?

Or is there just a line leaking from somewhere?

Thanks

depends. how many miles on them? are they smoking at all? for the most part, most twins that have never been rebuilt will have oil seals that are starting to go and leak oil.

I've got a set if you do need a replacement.

what is all that oil on the subframe? if its coming from the turbos you are looking at a replacement soon or a smoking rx7.

my bad it's coming from the other side.

Where my oil return line is from. I'm thinking it could just be my return line???

But why is it happening on both turbos.??

No it does not smoke. And this pictures is from a site that I just copy and paste. Not actual picture.

@fd3s_rx7

This is a VERY common prob the Twins have...have not seen a stock FD w/o that problem yet.

Mine does as well and I checked on reason. My mechanic told me that it is a sealing inside the pack and you would have to deinstall it in order to get it fixed. He also suggested me to have them revised the same way, as everthings torn apart...

Here's the conclusion: As long as you don't suffer of huge oil leaks after having parked you FD for a while I would do nothing, it is a minor thing.

cheers

why not check the oil return line first?!? if your car isnt smoking then i doubt its ur turbo.

clean those mess and try tightening the bolts of the oil return lines! go and drive it... and recheck where the oil is from.

gd luck

where exactly is the bolts to the oil return lines?

Does the turbos have to come off in order for it to just to tighten up the bolt.

Plus It is soooo compact that I can't even get my hands up there!!

Any help..???
