Cool! I was curious about those since they seem to be a lot cheaper than the other BOV's available.

Got any pics of your install?

how did you install it?? they dont make the flange for the FD.

havn't really heard a lot about this blow off valve, other than its the loudest on the market.

its not about how loud it is. its about how much boost can it hold and how fast can it evacuate the pressurized air between shifts. Greddy Type R all the way.

supposedly, it is good untill 25 PSI. most FDs never see anyting close to 25 PSI, so i dont think that should be an issue. also, i feel as long as a BOV is doing its job, as in it is holding boost/not leaking, and venting all the compressed air without a hint of compressor surge, get the one that sounds the best.

the RFL stands for Really Fucking Loud :D

I have the same question, how did you hook it up? Did you make your own flange or had one made for it. I have a greddy type adapter and was thinking of buying the RFL with their adapter and see how it hooks up. I heard it is really loud, that's why i want one too. My greddy was too quiet. How does it actually sound ina FD. Wicked or just okay. Any type of special noises like the HKS/Blitz/or Greddy?

When I was at Dsmtalk.com, that was also the BOV of choice. It was the loudest by far, and it was valve by choice for DSM's. While this may seem like comparing apples and oranges, its a qulity valve also. I've installed it on a number of cars, and TurboXS is a puppet company of Turbosmart, so you know you're in good hands.

I'd reccomend the RFL or Type R. For sound, definately go with the RFL.
