Turbo XS Bov
I was wondering if they mad the Turbo XS RFL bov for the rx7 and how much it costs and who sells it.
I don't knwo who sells flanges... but http://www.rx7.com/cgi-local/3catalog.cgi?cat=9&part=3 sells them.
also www.turboxs.com you can find them |
The valves are universal but you can buy an adapter to make it fit into the stock hose. The valve itself comes with two weld on adapters.
adapter kit H-supra |
I hate one of those on my old Eclipse GSX. They are LOUD.
well the type h adapter work the type h-rfl or just type h
so if i buy the turbo xs universal type h-rfl bov all i need is the supra adapter and it will work
If you buy the supra adapter it will make the hole in the bottom of the BOV the same size as the hole that our stock BOV has. This makes it super easy to find a ruber tube which conects the hole to the BOV or you can just use the stock ruber tubes.
If you really want the BOV to sound loud you should do what I did ( this is if you have the greddy elbow). You fuse the universal adapter to the aluminum pipe that connects the greddy elbo to the stock or aftermarket intercooler. You can see pictures of what I meen at the link below with the parts I am selling. PM me if you guys have any questions on the BOV. http://photos.yahoo.com/gustavo_rx7 PS The BOV actually sounds Really Fu%K#& Loud not like other that say the do. |
Rotary Performance sells it I think for 180 Ill look next time Im there. But Im pretty sure thats what it goes for or 160. Somewhere in taht range.
Universal on ebay is like 139.00
I have this BOV (H-RFL)too and I swear people driving even with their windows rolled up still get scared.:D
thanxs for all the info guys one last question i know if you weld it or fuse it to the greddy elbow or after market ic piping it will be loud as hell but what if you put it in the stock location will it be loud still
Yes, i have mine in the stock location witha custom fabbed adapter done at a muffler shop and it's hell alot louder than my greddy i use to have on there. No need to fab it to a greddy elbow. It's plenty loud in the stock location, trust me.

Infact, i only have one complaint about that BOV, Im guessing because its piston style BOV unlike te HKS, my car sure jerked back alot harder than it does now, now it feels ALOT smoother with the HKS SSQV.
