turbo problems

im fairly new to turbos and need help solving this problem. i was coming down mount boldy when i thought i herd a police siren go off. nope it was my turbos. insted of hearing the clean healthy spule up they sounded like a damn siren. the boost on the primary is fine a solid ten. and my second turbo hasnt been engaging right so i stay away from going any higher than 4 rpms untill i fix that problem. anyone know wat might be causing this odd sound?

You don't need to bump your post every hour.

Start by checking your hoses, particularly the one which connects to the CRV. After a while, it turns to plastic and starts cracking. If that leaks, it will cause boost problems after the sequential transition.

You should probably take a look at the Stock Turbo Overview so you can understand what is happening and when:

sorry for bumbing the post so often. i get a lil eager when it comes to this car at times. wont happen again

the hoses are fine. i know the basics of how the sequential function. r & r is waiting on me to get a power fc to pin point the problem for my secondary not working correctly. they looked at it thuroly already and thnk it might just be a bad computer and solenoids. wich is why they told me to go ahead and get a boost controler to bypass those two solenoids in case they are bad.

however im more concerned about the odd siren nose wene boosting. its gottem pretty loud. that just started a few days ago and im trying to figure out why.

actually i just noticed my bov is leaking a crap of air. could that be causing the strange siren noise?

BOV shouldn't leak air except in deceleration. How ever the CRV will leak boost up until transition. Pull the rear turbo inlet pipe and check turbo for shaft play (see if it spins freely and doesn't hit the turbo housing.

yeah i turned my car on and was looking around the engine bay. thats when i noticed it was throwing out air at all times. im getting a replacement today. if that doesnt fix the nose problem ill do wat you said.

thnks for the post
