turbo oil lines leaking ???????

Hey there i have an oil line on my turbos that is leaking oil when i run the car Is this a pain in the ass to fix or is it not too bad if you have some experience in this part of the fd thanks Greg

It's not a bad fix. Darn easy if you completely pull the turbos. :)

Most likely, it just needs new gaskets. The line are hard lines so you would have to damage them to make them leak. The gaskets however have been a failure point for a while. There are 4 gaskets in all for the turbo return lines. 3 of them are the same and the 4th is an odd ball one.

I am willing to bet that some of the enthusiasts here will show up and help you out for a case of beer.

Mahjik,

That's a nice way to put it. Just about anything is easier than pulling the turbos with them in the car. Nice point.

You might PM Dale. He might not be all that close to you but maybe it would be worth a drive to hook up with him.
