turbo Oil Line ?
Hey guys. I just pulled my turbo/manifold to fix an exhaust leak and found a serious problem. The oil line that connects to the bottom of the shaft (gt35r) was cooking from the heat. It had allllmost disintegrated and even the heat shielding was gone (only 2k miles)
So i need to replace it but I'm not sure where to get something that will hold up to the insane temps.. It runs RIGHT next to the turbo hotside. So I'm just looking to know where I can get a reliable line to withstand the heat. Thanks for any input. -Ian |
what was your oil line made of? was it SS braided hose?

I was thinking the same thing..RIght now I only have heater hose, but was thinking SS braided...what is a good viable option to go with???

^ just go with stainless. It will cost more money and fitment is tricky, but they will handle the heat.

I thought so. Ok thanks!

yup SS braided line is the way to go. looks great, and it can put up with the heat levels.
