tsudo downpipe for the fd

Ok so I just stumbled on to this.Has anyone ever heard of a company called tsudo? Its supposed to be a company that makes downpipes for the fd in japan.Im curious as to what kind of quality they put out.
Heres the link to the downpie.

no ones heard of them I take it.The reason im considering it is because its a good price. It looks like its quality work and for 105 you cant beat it.

Ohh hey besides the downpipe being so cheap.I was also able to pick up a greddy strut bar for only 99 bucks plus 20 bucks for shipping. The best price ive found yet.

Has anyone checked out the link? Just curious on what your thoughts were.

where is the strut bar on that site? Under Suspension, they only have a front strut bar for civic and integra and a rear strut bar.

just send them an e-mail.They have them but for some reason they dont have them listed on the website.Trust me they have em.Otherwise I wouldnt have one.Enjoy.
Its a very nice piece and in my opinion the best looking one ive seen for the fd and also the cheapest.Well except for the tubelike ones on ebay that are like 12 bucks. But the greddy one is a nice piece.Very nice.

I was under the impression that japanese spec downpipes were angled around an obstacle on RHD cars, making them flow less. Anyone?

speeddemon7 04-01-04 09:00 PM

I think its made in japan but I dont think its a rhdrive downpipe.I could be wrong but Ive seen pics of the downpipe and its angled the same as all the other downpipes. The only thing im unsure of is the thickness of the downpie, whther the flanges are stainless steel as well and whether it will fit without any problems.

I bought one already. I haven't installed it yet but it was a hell of a deal, you'd be an idiot to pass up a deal like that, imo. It came with all the gaskets and even the bolts to mount it up, check their feedback and you'll see it is a decent quality too.

Double the bubble butt.:p:

Oh ps the guy who sold it to me, Chris, is an awesome person very easy to work with, if you guys need more info just let me know or perhaps some picts, I haven't seen other downpipes so I can't compare it to anything else. Also this guy is freakin crazy for selling it that cheap, he advertises it as a downpipe but its two pieces downpipe and midpipe.

i bought this pipe and im having serous fitament problems right now... im on my 2nd day of working on it, about 8hrs total, and it just doesnt want to fit. the bolts on the manifold arnt lineing up right, and the bolts that go to the cat dont line up either. hopefully my dremel will be able to fix it.

tt2323 05-01-04 10:40 AM

Correct me if i'm wrong but the only way this specific set will fit is by using both the down/mid pipe. Someone else learned this the hardway and well i got a combo even cheaper

SNracing 05-01-04 12:28 PM

bolting the dp to the cat is not the biggest problem, since the cat is on a hanger, i am able to move it to fit. i just need to dremel out the the flange holes b/c the cat's bolts are about 3mm wider. the manifold side is a diffrent story though. the holes on the manifold are not lineing up with the holes on the dp, and if i dremel the hole to fit the manifold, it may not seal correctly and cause a leak. not sure what im gonna do.
