Trickle Charger blowing Odometer?
 

My fd has the odometer issue. The backlight works but the numbers are out. I replaced the capacitor the larger one and reinstalled the hood and the numbers reappeared and work great for about 2 weeks. Then I decided to charge my battery with a slow charger battery charger over night...the next day the odometer was out.

Is there any relation between the charger and the odometer?

The odometer now comes on and off every week or so and works for about 2 to 3 days when it turns on....any ideas on what to do? Should I replace the capacitor again or is it possibly another unrelated capacitor the blew near the odometer?
