Tri Point Engineering
Has anyone had any experience with these people?
Also, I checked out the website and emailed them, but there email isnt' working... does anyone know there mail address? Not email. |
It's located in Canoga Park. 818-348-5385. All I know is that they're expensive but they should be knowledgeable on the RX7. For the small problems, I usually take my to regular Mazda Specialist.

im a little late on this post and im not sure if anyone will get this, but tri-point has done all the work on my 3rd gen, just about everything you can do up till a full turbo upgrade/engine rebuild. ive been dealing with them for almost a year now and theyre extremely knowledgable and sociable guys. not the cheapest but top-notch work. if your at all curious i'd recommend giving them a call and talking to mark.

everytime I go there, they always seem to forget to put on some nuts and bolts. My rear strut brace was unattached, my alternator tension nut was missing, and they threw away my under cover and custom fresh air duct for my car. They know what they're doing, but still have problems.
|
They do seem to know their stuff. However, all my dealings with them have be over the phone. And for the most part, they take an awful long time to get anything done. Plus, they've told me several times they would send me out info on stuff I've bought, but it never arrives.

I am fortunate enough to live near Tri Point so I just go down and get what I need. I have never had a problem.

Have you done any SCCA or other sanctioned car event in your RX7 ?
If so, get a mazdaspeed account, and they usually have at least one Tri-Point front swaybar in stock. I love mine, along with Widefoot mounts! :-) neil |
tripoint seems to have less and less of their custom fd parts yr after year. are they all still available?

Based on some of these posts (and knowing how much $$$ tripoint charges) I'm pretty disappointed. When you pay the kind of money these guys charge, you should get top notch zero-defect service. |

I still have new things I want to make for the '7, but it really takes some thought when you target a market of <10k cars... Rich, I haven't kept up with all the threads, have there been problems with any of T-P's products? My experience with them has been good, except for the (now solved) issue of using their bars along with bronze bushing mounts. David Breslau Widefoot Racing |
