Tracking Down the Problem
 

Ok i have been Tracking down a Problem with a Check Engine light, Well i have done everthing and still cant find anything wrong. I have changed the CAS, the Connectors and wires going to the ECU, Then i have changed the ECU with a few that i have had.

Background - 93 R1 Stock Twin Seq 112,000 (Been sitting a few months (3-5))

So the is nothing wrong with the CAS system but i still have the Check Engine Code.

Ok well i dont no why the code is still there but, i tryed to crank the engine and it started but was really Rough, and poping alot, would not idle eather. So i am thinking it is a fuel problem now, The fuel pump was bad when i got the car, so i changed it, but didnt drain the gas that was in the car. ( :bash: )
So i am thinking that maybe i have all that bad gas tar on the fuel injector screens. Beacaue i am not getting hardly any fuel in the enigne, It is Hard to start and will no rev right, ( I am trying to get a video on this, so i can explain it better )

This is proable the last thing i try before i take the car to maz max and tell them to fix it, i have been working on rx7's sence i was 15 (22 now) and have only have FB's and FC's so this is my frist FD and it is really pissing me off.

I have also installed a push button start because the ignition switch messed up

So if you guys have any other opitions on what can be wrong

The compression on the motor is FR 6.2 6.7 6.5 RR 6.5 6.6 6.3 ( Cold Engine Auto Starter) So the engine turn slower than a 5 speed

I have the same problem with my FD also,let me know the solution if you find it.
